A peach dahlia standing above the flower rows in low evening light

The flower rows · July to early October

Golden hour, picnics, and scissors.

The rows face west, so the last hour of light comes through the dahlias rather than down onto them. You can book that hour, or the middle of the day with a blanket in it.

What you can book

A peach dahlia standing above the flower rows in low evening light

Golden hour, mini session

Half an hour in the last good light.

The rows face west, so the hour before sunset comes through the dahlias rather than down onto them. Half an hour is enough for a family or a couple. Bring your own camera or your own photographer.

Cut your own

Take the scissors down the rows.

Ask for a slot

Tell us when suits and we will confirm it.

This holds a slot in our book. It is not confirmed until we say so, which we do by phone or email, usually the same day and always within two. Nothing is charged now and no card is taken. You pay at the farm on the day, cash or Venmo.

We set the exact time by that week's sunset, which moves by about an hour across the season, and confirm it with you.

Or just call (720) 751-1657.

What to expect

The rows are on uneven ground and the paths are grass, so flat shoes are wiser than heels. There is no shade in the patch and no bathroom at the field, so plan for both.

We do not photograph anybody. You bring your own camera, phone or photographer, and the field is yours for the time you booked.

Rain moves things. If the weather turns we will call you and find another evening, at no charge.
